King's North at Myrtle Beach National

In this blog, we are going to cover everything you need to know about playing at one of Myrtle Beach's most popular courses. King's North sits off of Highway 501 near Conway South Carolina. It is one of three courses at Myrtle Beach National. The other courses are called The West Course and South Creek.

One of the most popular holes this course has to offer is the par 5, hole 6 of the front. It is named 'The Gambler" because of the different ways you can approach this hole. There is an island of fairway just off to the left of the tee box that will give you a good look into the green but is a risky play because of the surrounding water and distance. You can also play it safe by shooting your ball off to the right of the tee box where there is plenty of fairway to hit.

Another unique hole at King's North is number 18. This hole sports 40 different bunkers down the left side and sends you off the course with an exciting finish.

Overall the course plays fairly for the average skilled golfer. Some fairways can be narrow, some can be wide. The greens are all pretty consistent with speed and there aren't too many surprises. Of the three courses at Myrtle Beach National, King's North sits in the middle regarding the degree of difficulty.

Don't forget to make a stop at the grill when you hit the turn. The menu at Myrtle Beach National has tons of options for breakfast and lunch.
