As the fall season approaches, Crown Park Golf Club, after a summer of hard work, is in peak condition, which should delight golfers in search of a value-laden round.
Because it is situated on Highway 9, Crown Park has always been perceived as an ideal course for a day of arrival or departure round, but that is selling the layout short.
— Many Myrtle Beach courses battled Mother Nature through a difficult winter, and Crown Park was no different, but management recognized the problem early and rectified it. As a result, the course is in excellent condition for fall golfers.
— The layout, which isn’t long at 6,502 yards from the tips and 6,004 yards from the white tees, challenges players to hit a variety of shots. Players have the option to hit driver throughout the round, but water comes into play on every hole, forcing golfers to make risk-reward decisions that contribute to the experience.
— There are no homes or OB on the entire course. It’s just you and the golf course.
